Noonan Family Swim School's goal is to teach children and their families how to be safer around the water, while also developing a lifelong love of swimming. NFSS's program is designed to create safer swimmers, through developing proper swimming techniques and form. Once children have completed our Learn-to-Swim program, we offer our Gold Program which is an intramural swim team. We have seen many of our swimmers start in our Splash Babies program; graduate our Learn-to-Swim program who then join our Swim Team Program. We also allow children to try out for our swim team who know freestyle and backstroke and have a basic understanding of breaststroke and butterfly.
In our Swim Team Program our primary goals are:
- Perfecting Stroke Techniques
- Teaching proper starts, turns and finishes
- Endurance
- Introduction to Competitive Swimming, through class and fun swim meets
- Fun!
