About Us Jeff and Monica, owners of the Noonan Family Swim School,Inc., have extensive backgrounds in aquatics, teaching, human resources and management. Our love for education, children and the water led us to open and operate a swim school. Jeff Noonan has over 20 years of experience in competitive swimming, coaching, life guarding and teaching. For the past seven years, he taught math to at-risk youth and special education students. He also taught thousands of adults and children how to swim as a Masters Coach and for the past six years as a Head Coach of a 160-person swim team. He works with the Winston School in Del Mar and volunteers as a CPR Pro Instructor for the American Red Cross. He received his WSI (Water Safety Instructor) certificate 20 years ago and started teaching Red Cross swimming at the age of 15 in Fremont, California. He enjoys working with all ages of swimmers and training the swim school staff in the latest and most current swim theories. Monica Noonan has over 13 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, and management. She was instrumental in the start up of two Silicon Valley companies and was a national auditor for Robert Half International. From her success in the world of recruiting and management, she brings a wealth of knowledge, specifically in the areas of sales, employee training and customer service. She currently is involved with all aspects of the Noonan Family Swim School,Inc. and is the leader behind our infant Parent and Me Program. She is trained in WSI, Lifeguard Training and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
